| 英文描述 | In the U.S., infection of dogs with ANAPLASMA PLATYS is considered subclinical, but clinical signs have been associated with this organism in Southern Europe and the Middle East, sometimes in association with concurrent E. CANIS infection. Clinical signs might be accompanied by thrombocytopenia, the presence of giant platelets, low hematocrit, monocytosis, and low albumin concentrations. It is presumed, but not proven, that this is transmitted by the brown dog tick, RHIPICEPHALUS SANGUINEUS. Dx by identification of platelet inclusions in conjunction with serology. |
